'South Park' critic on terror charge
A terror suspect who told the creators of South Park they risked death for mocking the Prophet Mohamed was in jail last night on separate charges of trying to join a Somali organisation linked to al-Qa'ida.
Zachary Chesser, 20, appeared in court in Alexandria, Virginia, accused of providing material support to al-Shabaab. FBI agents said he tried to travel to Somalia as a fighter. An FBI affidavit said he was prevented from flying by his mother-in-law and was told he was on the no-fly list. He has not been charged over the online threat to South Park.
