Two-legged boxer dog has time of his life on trip to the seaside

Disability doesn’t stop boxer from enjoying the best of a dog’s life

Duncan Lou Who, the two legged boxer puppy who was born with severely deformed rear legs that had to be removed, has proven that his two front runners are all he needs.

The puppy is seen running along on a beach for the first time in a video made by his owners, where he shows that his lack of hind legs is anything but a hindrance.

Duncan apparently has a wheelchair to help him get around but he  prefers to simply run with what he’s got, galloping on his two front legs and using the back half of his body and his tail to balance himself.

At one point in the film, which was made on a GoPro camera, Duncan holds his tail straight up in the air to avoid getting more than his paws wet in the sea.

Duncan is cared for by the Panda Paws Rescue centre, a rescue, rehabilitation and hospice specialising in canine special needs and run by Amanda Giese and Gary Walters, in Washington State.

His owners posted the video onto YouTube, and said: “He has a wheelchair, but he can’t stand to use it. So we let him be free and just walk on his two legs. There is some slow motion in this video, but none of the video has been sped up, this gives you an idea of how fast Duncan really is.”
