New photographs of the former Cuban president Fidel Castro have been released.
The images were taken at the end of last month during a four-hour meeting between Castro and journalist Miguel Angel Perez Pirela, where the pair reportedly discussed current affairs.
After passing his presidency to his brother in 2008, Castro has withdrawn from most official duties and rarely makes public appearances.
