The Midwest of America has been hit by snow storms, causing chaos for residents and commuters.
Around 100 million people in 22 states have been affected by the extreme weather, with Illinois ending up with a metre-and-a-half of snow and severe wind chills.
Meanwhile in Chicago 373 snow ploughs have been mobilised to salt and clear roads. Planes at O'Hare International airport were grounded, leaving passengers stranded.
The heavy snow has been blanketing the area, and further snow is predicted as temperatures are set to drop even further. The weather started on Tuesday and is moving into the North East.
