For Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev, the opening of the $4bn (£2.2bn) metal tube from Baku to Ceyhan in Turkey promises entry into the big time. But he will be hoping that his guests do not pay too much attention to the claims from his critic's widow.

Rushana Huseinov believes that her President may be connected to the murder of her husband, a journalist, who was shot in March.
