Pooch looks like a lady
A pet dog in China prefers to walk upright like a human being and has won the hearts of locals in its neighbourhood in Zhumadian, central China’s Henan Province.
One-year-old miniature pinscher Lu Lu is owned by retired teacher Zhou Guanshun, who got Lu Lu as a puppy.
After he got Lu Lu Zhou began to teach her to stand upright and walk by holding her front legs.
He says: "She learnt to walk upright when she was a four-month-old and hasn't stopped ever since then".
For most of the time during the day Lu Lu prefers to be in an upright position; even when she is resting she chooses to squat down on her hind legs.
Besides walking upright, Lu Lu can also jump through hoops and do other acts. Each morning Zhou takes Lu Lu to the nearby public square to have a walk, where she proves to be a huge hit with passers-by.
