Is it a bird? Is it a plane? - Erm, we don't actually know
A mysterious creature left zoo keepers in China puzzled in September 2011.
Wenling Zoo in eastern China's Zhejiang Province came into the possession of an unusual 'primate'.
Initially, baffled keepers were unable to determine just what species it was. The weird-looking "monkey" was handed over to staff by an anonymous man.
The creature had big brown eyes, a rodent like tail, long claws and dappled brown, orange and white fur.
After believing they may have stumbled across a previously unknown species of monkey or possum, keepers later were informed it was a spotted cuscus, a marsupial native to norther Australia, Papua New Guinea and Indonesia's Maluku Islands.
