Balts say no
MOSCOW (AFP) - The Baltic states roundly rejected Russia's conditions for withdrawing more than 100,000 troops stationed in the three nations, barely 24 hours after the Russian Foreign Minister, Andrei Kozyrev, made the proposal. The Baltics refused Russia's proposal to maintain strategic bases in their countries.
