Bombers to stay
(First Edition)
The Libyan leader, General Muammar Gaddafi, ended three days of talks with the Egyptian President, Hosni Mubarak, saying that Libya would not surrender two men suspected of placing a bomb on the Pan Am airliner that exploded over Lockerbie in 1988 to Britain or the US, Reuter reports from Tunis.
Mr Mubarak left Libya after appearing to make no progress in his latest attempt to mediate in Libya's dispute with the West.
