Bosnian President's gas threat
PARIS - Bosnia's President, Alija Izetbegovic, warned yesterday during a visit to Tehran that unless the arms embargo against his country were lifted, the Muslims of Bosnia would have 'no other means but to use all poisonous gases existing, in Bosnia-Herzegovina', according to Tehran Radio, writes Safa Haeri. Speaking before his departure, President Izetbegovic bitterly criticised Muslim and Western nations for their 'poor assistance' to the 'innocent Muslim people' of Bosnia.
