China has opened another 134 cities and counties to foreigners, who will no longer need special permits to visit them, Xinhua said yesterday, AFP reports fron Hong Kong. There are currently 1,053 Chinese cities and counties open to foreigners, the official Chinese news agency said in a dispatch monitored here. Newly opened areas are in the autonomous regions of Guangxi Zhuang and Xinjiang Uygur, along with Gansu, Shaanxi, Qinghai and Jilin provinces.
