Clean-up deal
Britain and Australia settled a long-running row yesterday over the clean-up of former British nuclear test sites in the South Australia desert, Reuter reports from London.
The Foreign Office said Australia had agreed to abandon all further claims for compensation in return for a pounds 20m payment by Britain over the next six years.
