MOSCOW (AP) - 'Black box' flight-recorder data from the Korean Airlines jet that was shot down in 1983 is among the material Russia will give South Korea to help clear up nagging questions about the incident. President Boris Yeltsin said the black box transcript had been found in KGB archives. Soviet fighter planes shot down KAL 007, killing all 269 people on board, after it strayed inside Soviet airspace.
