'Commuter' gunman fit to plead
A gunman charged with indiscriminately shooting six people dead on a Long Island commuter train last month was declared fit to stand trial by two mental health experts, AFP reports from Mineola, New York.
A court-appointed psychiatrist and a psychologist told the judge that Colin Ferguson understood the charges and could help in his defence.
