Ahigh turnout in Delhi's state poll has taken many Indians by surprise after a lacklustre campaign, Reuter reports from New Delhi. Official figures showed 61.6 per cent of Delhi's 5.8 million voters cast ballots on Saturday for a newly created state assembly - the first of six regional polls this month which will test the ruling Congress Party against a powerful challenge from the right-wing Bharatiya Janata Party.
