Three European diplomats kidnapped in Afghanistan have pleaded for water and urgent help from their governments to free them in a second letter smuggled out from captivity, Reuter reports.

The letter, which was smuggled to Pakistan on Saturday, accuses Pakistani officials negotiating the diplomats' release of holding up any solution. The diplomats include a Briton, Jack Dodds.
