Draskovic plea
Daniele Mitterrand, wife of the French President, travelled to Belgrade yesterday to appeal to Serb authorities for the release of the injured opposition leader Vuk Draskovic, Reuter reports from Paris.
'The aim of the trip is to try to free Draskovic, or at least to make contact with him and help him,' a spokesman for her human rights foundation said.
