EU documents go public

The European Commission agreed to allow greater access to its paperwork as part of the European Union's campaign to increase openness, Reuter reports from Brussels. The Information Commissioner Joao de Deus Pinheiro said he expected 99 per cent of the documents held by the EU executive to be made public.
