Victims of the former Communist regime have been ordered to end a 26-day hunger strike in Tirana. Protesters say the government has broken its pledges to compensate former political prisoners.
A court ruled yesterday that their action was illegal after police argued that two of the protesters had endangered the public by setting themselves on fire.
