Albanians shot dead on Yugoslav border
At least eight Albanians have been shot dead in the last three days by Yugoslav border guards, the Belgrade-based Tanjug news agency said yesterday, AFP reports from Tirana.
The Albanian Interior Ministry, quoted by Radio Tirana, said that 10 Albanians had been killed by Yugoslav border guards while unknowingly crossing the border into the former Yugoslavia. The Albanian Foreign Ministry condemned the attacks.
