Assad boy attacked
A nephew of Syrian President Hafez al-Assad was attacked and slightly wounded in the Paris suburb of Saint-Denis, AFP reports from Bobigny. Ten hooded attackers fired an airgun at Siwar Assad, young son of the Syrian Vice-President Rifaat al-Assad, and four companions. Two were taken to hospital. Police said they arrested four of the attackers, who were being questioned.
