Clown's suicide

Achille Zavatta, France's best-loved clown who made generations of children laugh, shot himself dead outside his countryside home yesterday, Reuter reports from Paris. Zavatta, 78, was reportedly suffering severe kidney trouble and had lost much of his eyesight.
