Gun money
The Clinton administration yesterday proposed stiff increases in fees for gun-dealer licences, Reuter reports from Washington. The government is to ask Congress to raise the fee nearly tenfold to dollars 600 a year in the expectation that this would eliminate about 200,000 of the approximately 284,000 dealers.
