BUDAPEST (Reuter) - Twenty- two gypsy organisations from 10 countries have agreed to set up a European Roma Parliament that will help fight discrimination and promote their culture.

Participants at a conference in Budapest on Thursday also adopted a protest statement demanding that no one tolerate racist violence against Europe's gypsies, who have increasingly become targets of such attacks. There are more than 10 million gypsies in Europe.
