Hijacker blows himself up as commandos storm plane

An anti-terrorist officer in the Russian republic of Daghestan inspects the jet in which a hijacker blew himself up yesterday after police stormed it.

The plane was commandeered on Tuesday but the last of 27 hostages escaped before the blast.
