Jaruzelski investigated

Military prosecutors have begun an investigation into the former Polish Communist leader Wojciech Jaruzelski's role in the violent suppression of workers' protests in 1970, Reuter reports from Warsaw. More than 50 people died when troops opened fire on strikers in the Baltic ports of Gdansk and Gdynia.
