In a further move toward national reconciliation, Khmer Rouge guerrillas are willing to give up the 20 per cent of Cambodia they control if given a role in the new government, the head of state, Prince Norodom Sihanouk, said yesterday, AP reports from Phnom Penh. Prince Sihanouk said Khmer Rouge leaders indicated in meetings with him that they would be willing to integrate their troops into the national army if given a government portfolio.
