Missiles hit rebel airport
Grozny - Two helicopters fired missiles at the Chechen republic's main airport at Grozny, and the rebel Russian region's leader, Dzhokhar Dudayev, accused the Kremlin of being responsible. The control tower and two civilian planes were damaged in the attack, and several people were slightly wounded. Russian-backed opposition leaders claimed responsibility. Reuter
