The twin brother of the Polish President who died in a 2010 plane crash in Russia claimed yesterday that the accident is looking increasingly like an assassination and called on the EU to investigate.

Jaroslaw Kaczynski's appeal comes amid deep suspicions over the crash. However, many Poles have accepted official Polish and Russian explanations that fog and pilot error caused the crash, near Smolensk, which killed President Lech Kaczynski and 95 others on board.
