Polish PM hails reform
Prime Minister Waldemar Pawlak, outlining his new government's policies, said yesterday Poland still needed deep reforms to achieve full recovery and vowed not to change the general course of economic policy, Reuter reports from Warsaw. Mr Pawlak, leading the first left-wing coalition into power after four years of centrist governments, said Poland would seek membership of the European Union and Nato.
