Quake victim rescued on pyre

A 35-year-old man found in the wreckage of a collapsed home in the earthquake zone of western India was presumed dead and about to be cremated when rescue workers saw his leg twitch, AFP reports from Bombay. Rescuers noticed Shiva Nhavi's leg was moving on the funeral pyre and immediately shifted him to a mobile army hospital in the small town of Khillari, the Maharashtra Times reported.
