Reputation turns to ashes
Brussels - A Belgian crematorium is under investigation for giving families a cocktail of ashes instead of the remains of their relatives. 'It appears corpses are put in one after the other. Then a big melting pot is made of the ashes and sent to the family or funeral parlour,' the public prosecutor's spokesman said. 'This means the ashes delivered might not necessarily correspond to the person who was cremated.' The crematorium insisted it was providing a 'quality service'. Reuter
