BUCHAREST (Reuter) - The bishop behind Romania's 1989 revolution yesterday ended a hunger strike he had launched to try to bring to justice the unidentified killers of more than 1,000 victims of the uprising. Laszlo Tokes said he was calling off the 10-day-old fast to avoid rocking the political boat or stirring up nationalist passions before a general election on 27 September.
