Uranium arrests
BUDAPEST (Reuter) - Hungarian police seized two kilograms (4.4lb) of radioactive material, believed to be uranium fuel rods from the former Soviet Union, and arrested two Hungarians trying to sell them. authorities said yesterday. A police spokesman said the two unidentified Hungarians were arrested on Monday as they sought to sell the material for dollars 40,000 ( pounds 26,000) per kilogram.
