Video: BMW driver appears to crush elderly-looking man in hit-and-run incident

The Nissan driver appeared to reprimand the motorist before he was hit

Shocking footage has emerged online appearing to show a hit-and-run motorist deliberately run a car into an elderly-looking man on a Moscow road, before stopping to check his vehicle for damage.

Police officers have identified the rogue driver who allegedly used a white BMW to target a man in a dark-coloured Nissan Almera, and consider him a fugitive, according to Russia Today.

The video was filmed on Monday at around 15:50pm, on a camera attached to the dashboard of a motorist driving behind the two cars.

Prior to the incident, the BMW appeared to try to undertake the Nissan as two lanes merged into one.

When the cars came to a halt at a set of traffic lights, the seemingly elderly Nissan driver appeared to reprimand the BMW driver for around 5 seconds.

As the Nissan driver walked away, the BMW accelerated, and swerved towards the older man as he attempted to re-enter his vehicle, and wedged him between the two cars.

The white-shirted man then hit the floor, as the BMW halted a few yards ahead. Leaving the BMW, the motorist glanced momentarily at his writhing victim, and assessed his car for damage before driving away.

Other motorists, including an ambulance ahead of the BMW, did not stop to help the man as he held his shin in pain. But eventually a moped driver fetches a pillow from the Nissan, and lays it on the ground for the driver to rest his head against.

The man was later taken to hospital.
