Texas's highest court halted the execution of the convicted killer Gary Graham, six hours before he was due to die by lethal injection for a 1981 murder he says that he did not commit, Reuters reports from Austin.
The Texas Court of Criminal Appeals issued the stay pending resolution of various legal disputes in the Graham case, which has attracted international attention.
