Former Albanian PM arrested

The former Albanian prime minister Fatos Nano was arrested after being charged with abusing power, Reuter reports from Tirana. Mr Nano was accused of costing the state 8.4bn old leks (now equivalent to pounds 5.3m) by insisting foreign aid be handled by a single Italian company, which overcharged.
