Harding plea
Tonya Harding begged for the right to skate for an Olympic gold medal after admitting she did not come forward when she learned her associates tried to maim her rival, Nancy Kerrigan, Reuter reports from Portland. Ms Harding said she had no prior knowledge of the plot to attack her figure-skating rival and knock her out of the national championships.
