Honecker stays
BONN (AP) - The newspaper Bild reported today that negotiations between Russia and Chile on returning the former East German leader Erich Honecker to Germany had collapsed. Bild quoted a Russian Foreign Ministry spokesman as saying Chile wanted Russia to take full responsibility for turning Mr Honecker over to the Germans for trial on manslaughter charges. A German government source would say only that 'there are no indications that a solution can be expected this weekend'.
