Honour in France for US ambassador
Paris - United States ambassador to France Pamela Harriman was made a Commander of France's Order of Arts and Letters in recognition of her patronage of the fine arts. The award was conferred on her by Cultural Affairs Minister Philippe Douste-Blazy, who praised her role in helping arrange the Paris exhibition of the Barnes Collection of impressionist paintings.
