'Faulty' kidney could mean eviction
New Delhi - An Indian woman who donated a kidney to help save her landlord's ailing son in exchange for rent-free accommodation faces eviction and threats because he subsequently died. Shibani Mahapatra, a resident of a Calcutta suburb, is being tormented by the landlord for donating a "faulty" kidney, the Telegraph newspaper said. AFP
