Italian anti-corruption hero interrogated

Brescia - Antonio Di Pietro, the former Italian magistrate who became a national hero for exposing political corruption, was questioned by judges seeking to determine if he had broken the law. Italian media said Mr Di Pietro was being interrogated over possible abuse of office and graft connected to accusations that he used his position to secure a private loan and to help a friend win a job as head of Milan's traffic police.
