Indians 'destroy US native heritage'
THE world's largest deliberate destruction of ancient works of art has begun in the United States. About a million native American sculptures, painted art works and other items removed from graves and ritual sites in the 19th and
early 20th centuries are to be removed from 500 museums and reburied or exposed to the elements for religious reasons.
