Judge Joseph Freiha yesterday accused members of Lebanon's biggest civil-war Christian militia of bombing a church at Jounieh on 27 February, killing 11 worshippers, Reuter reports from Beirut. He identified nine suspects and said five were under arrest. Seven of the suspects were members of the Lebanese Forces headed by Samir Geagea, his statement said. It did not offer an explanation for the bombing. A government minister said the group has been banned.
