Mafia suspect held
Palermo - Lorenzo Tinnirello (above), a suspect in the bombing death of the anti-Mafia magistrate Paolo Borsellino and five of his bodyguards in July 1992, was arrested yesterday as he emerged from a fish market in nearby Trabia.
Tinnirello, who has been on the run since a 1989 conviction in one of Sicily's first big mob trials, reportedly heads a branch of the Sicilian Mafia. Police said mafiosi co-operating with investigators had implicated Tinnirello, who is known as Madonna, in many murders. AP
