NEW YORK (Reuter) - Mia Farrow threatened to kill herself after learning that Woody Allen was having an affair with her adopted daughter, the film director testified on Friday. Mr Allen said he received dozens of telephone calls from Ms Farrow after she learned of his affair with 22-year-old Soon-Yi Previn. The actress, he said, 'was raging, angry .. I said that I wanted to marry Soon-Yi. She was alternately raging and ferocious.'

Mr Allen took the witness stand for four hours as the trial began in the couple's custody battle over their adopted children, Dylan, 7, and Moses, 14, and their biological son, Satchel, 5.
