Blast at Israeli mall near Gaza
Wednesday, 14 May 2008
An explosion at a shopping mall in the Israeli city of Ashkelon, north of the Gaza Strip, wounded at least three people today, Israeli media and emergency service officials said.
The blast came as President George Bush met Israeli leaders in Jerusalem to mark the 60th anniversary of the founding of their state - an event Palestinians commemorate as the "Nakba", or catastrophe, for their people.
