An explosion at a car wash on the edge of Syria's second city, Aleppo, killed at least five people, according to opposition activists, as unrest in the country continued.
The Syrian Observatory for Humans Rights said the incident occurred in the Tall al-Zarazeer district, with activists stating that the business was linked to pro-Assad militias. Two explosions in Damascus also caused damage, but there were no casualties.
One device, planted under a car, reportedly damaged nine other vehicles.
