A judge holding an inquest into the killing in 1989 of a Namibian independence activist said that Donald Acheson, an Irishman arrested and released at the time, shot Anton Lubowski as part of a South African 'dirty tricks' campaign, Reuter reports from Windhoek. The judge said there was prima facie evidence that the killing was an operation of the former South African Defence Force's Civil Cooperation Bureau.
