The Gdansk Tax Office wants Poland's former president Lech Walesa to pay due taxes on $1m (pounds 600,000) he received for the rights to a film about his life, according to newspaper reports. Mr Walesa has 30 days to pay up to 450,000 zlotys (pounds 110,000) or appeal to a court, according to the reports.
